Airsoft (better known as bb guns) fire small plastic balls called ball bearing or ball bullets at about 20-100 metres. People use these guns to battle and fight with.

These may be the closest thing we have to military simulations but are completely harmless and (I think) are very very fun! We wil supply the main airsoft gun to you (or you can bye your own from www.cobraairsoft.com) and about 2000 BB's  but apart from that you supply your acceseries (slings, scopes, magazines ect) , ammo and a side arm such as a pistol or any other gun you want. You do not (of course) have to bye any of these things but its your problem if you run out of ammo in a airsoft fight. You do not take your airsoft guns home as the officer incharge and his sergant will take care of your airsoft gun (unless you bought it).

There are many different types of airsoft guns.

This is the M249 support gun which only one person in your platoon will use. it is a very rapid fire weapon and heavy.

This is the most common gun which is the M4A1 and this one of many assault rifles out there which is mostly used as a main weapon.

This is one of the many pistols the glock which is great for a side arm or back up weapon.

The airsoft shotgun fires three at a time. they can load either magazines or catriges (which i prefer). Most people think shotguns are short range but they can usually fire a fair distance. Great for close contact.

The sniper rifle is the longest range airsoft weapon. it can fire up to 150 metres and is bolt action which gives it the realistic edge. it holds about 30 rounds and there will be two snipers in your platoon.
